These mat-based beginners classes are aimed at anybody who is new to Pilates, and are a great introduction to Pilates.
They are also suitable for anybody who is coming back to Pilates after a break, or who is returning to exercise following an injury.
You will learn the fundamentals of Pilates - finding your core, applying the lateral thoracic breathing and the correct alignment, all in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The beginners course will introduce you to all 8 principles of Pilates - Centering, Precision, Breath, Flowing Movement, Concentration, Isolation, Control and Relaxation.
I keep the class numbers small so I can give everyone plenty of attention, ensuring that you’re doing each move correctly to get the full benefit of Pilates.
I can also tailor each move to your individual needs - for example, if you’re recovering from an injury.
Pilates is for everybody, no matter your age or your ability, flexibility or fitness levels.
