I started doing Pilates after I slipped a couple of discs in my lower back after giving birth to my daughter in 2013. I had injections, physiotherapy and with the threat of surgery, someone suggested I try Pilates. After just a few sessions I was hooked and I haven’t looked back. I am so grateful to Pilates for giving me my life back.
After experiencing first hand the benefits of Pilates, I was really keen to help others and achieved a YMCA (CYQ) Level 3 Pilates qualification through Pilates Training Solutions. I absolutely loved learning more about anatomy and the clinical side of Pilates. I am very keen to continue my learning and expand my knowledge as much as possible. I’ve already done a course on Trigger Point Therapy and Myofacial Release, been on a conference which covered many areas including hips, pregnancy and osteoporosis and i’ve got many other courses lined up!
